In the collectable jewelry community, pieces featuring the color red are highly prized.  This early 1950's glass bead necklace is no exception.  In original condition, the beads have not been restrung.  The necklace is secured by a J-hook and bead chain which is likewise in unrestored condition. Fashioned with a classic South Western flavor, this Lapel Pin retains it's popular appeal even today. Dating back to a period of time before it became usual practice to irradiate Turquoise in order to "enhance" the color, this Pin Circa dates to 1940-1950.
