Art Deco Rhinestone Fur Clip

The era commonly referred to as “Art Deco” became known as such after the Exposition International des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (which was held in Paris in 1925). Enameled Georgian Lapel Pin

Part of the Port of Mystery's collection from the Georgian Era, this lapel Pin is both delicate and understated. The "C" clasp is an indicator of an origin date no later than 1900. There is no rollover or locking mechanism and the C extends approximately 75% around the circle and bends inward. These clasps were used almost exclusively through the Georgian era right up until 1900. Well over a hundred years old, this piece is in exceptional condition.
