Circa 1850-1900. A Mother of Pearl Victorian Pin, set in Sterling Silver. The “c” clasp is a clue to the age of this simple, but elegant pin. Well over one hundred years ago this piece was hand wrought by a skilled jeweler. The piece has been left with the original patina so that the new owner can decide for themselves whether to polish it to a high shine, or leave the proof of graceful aging.

Part of the Port of Mystery's collection from the Georgian Era, this lapel Pin is both delicate and understated. The "C" clasp is an indicator of an origin date no later than 1900. There is no rollover or locking mechanism and the C extends approximately 75% around the circle and bends inward.
