Miriam Haskell jewelry has been know through the years for its high quality workmanship, designs, and materials. The jewelry pieces were handmade and handset using goldtone metal, an antique Russian gold metal finish developed by Haskell and Frank Hess. Miriam purchased her beads from France and Italy with her crystals imported from Bohemia.This Milk Glass Bead Necklace Circa dates to the mid 1950′s. Miriam Haskell is an icon in the world of jewelry design and her pieces are highly collectable and somewhat difficult to find.

By the beginning of the 1950’s Japan had re-kindled it's jewelry industry and sought to fulfill the growing market in the U.S. for quality pieces of well made jewelry.
