Her venue in the beginning was found in the streets of San Francisco where she sold pieces displayed in fishing tackle boxes. Laurel launched her business in the 1960's . She went to China in 1971 and discovered cloisonne' with which she designed paintings and had the designs made into earrings. The necklace is secured by a J-hook and bead chain which is likewise in unrestored condition.
