Coro Duettes are pins or brooches which are comprised of at least three separate parts that can be worn individually or as one piece. The Duette consists of a frame made specifically to hold two pin clips (or fur clips) in a fixed position so that together they can be worn as a brooch. Duettes are often missing components and therefore those pieces which are complete are much more valuable. Marked as “Coro” with a patent number, this piece is in excellent condition.

Her venue in the beginning was found in the streets of San Francisco where she sold pieces displayed in fishing tackle boxes. Laurel launched her business in the 1960's .
